Reiki

Reiki is a Japanese word meaning “Universal Life-Force-Energy”, pronounced ray-key. The “Ki” being the same as Chi or Qi, the Chinese word for the energy which underlies everything and that flows through meridians or channels within the body. It is an ancient healing practice that’s becoming increasingly popular as a complementary therapy and is being used much more widely alongside conventional healthcare. Reiki is believed to help balance the body’s energy systems, helping to correct energy flows through the meridians and chakras as needed, to bring an improved sense of health, vitality and well-being. Boosting the body’s innate ability to heal itself, helping to alleviate the effects of pain and suffering; aiding recovery and leaving you more able to cope with the stresses and strains of daily living. Suitable for people of all ages and animals.

‘You Reiki’ offers a wide range of Reiki treatments and training courses to meet your needs. Anyone can learn Reiki. We have an innate healing ability which we use naturally in our daily lives, often without realising. Reiki helps us to become consciously aware of this and how we can heal ourselves and help others if we wish to. Learning to harmonise with the body and promote its ability to re-balance and replenish, strengthening the immune system and natural energy flows. We can use Reiki informally in our lives for self-healing and to help others around us, such as family, friends and our pets, or we can practice more formally and develop further. Reiki helps us to realise we are not helpless and there is so much more we can do to help ourselves.  Reiki empowers us to re-build connections with our own bodies and become more sensitive to our needs.
